Mokoliʻi Island - Chinaman’s Hat

Hiking on Mokoliʻi Island is short, steep, rewarding. The trail climbs straight from the shoreline to the summit in about 20 to 30 minutes.

The path is unmarked, uneven, loose in places. There are no rails no shade. Good footwear careful footing are important, especially on the way down.

At the top, you get wide views of Kaneohe Bay the Koʻolau Mountains. The climb is quick. The scenery feels big.
